Questions about Networking & Wi-Fi

Why is my Wi-Fi weak in some rooms?

Walls, distance and where the router sits all reduce the signal. Sometimes moving the router helps; larger spaces may need extra access points or cabling.

There is no internet line at my site. Can I still have Wi-Fi or CCTV?

Often yes, with a 4G LTE modem. We have set this up for cameras at sites without a fixed line. Coverage depends on the mobile signal at your location.

Is the problem my internet line or my network?

If the internet is slow everywhere, even on a cable connection, the line may be the cause and your provider should check it. If it's weak only in some places, the Wi-Fi setup is the more likely cause.
